I am a Greek therapist, who has been based in the Netherlands since 2021. I offer therapy specifically tailored to expats in both English and Greek. My passion for my work stems from a deep commitment to helping people discovering themselves, achieve their personal and professional goals, and find their own unique meaning of happiness. This intention is at the heart of everything I do and is what drives me in my practice.
In our sessions, I will provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can freely express yourself. I listen attentively and strive to understand your experiences and challenges. With unconditional acceptance, I will work with you and cooperatively develop a personalized plan, that aligns with your needs and aspirations. My approach is addressing immediate concerns, but also equipping you with the tools and strategies needed to navigate life's complexities. Together, we'll foster clarity and resilience, helping build a fulfilling and balanced life.
I provide therapy for a wide range of ages, including children (ages 4-14), youth (ages 15-24), and adults (ages 24+). Each age group presents unique challenges and developmental stages, and I tailor my approach to meet the specific needs and concerns of each individual. This ensures that everyone, from young children to adults, receives the appropriate support and guidance to navigate their personal journeys.
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Panteion University in Greece, where I also obtained my professional license. After completing my studies, I expanded my knowledge by attending a specialized seminar on play therapy, focused on children's therapy. In 2021, I moved to the Netherlands and completed my Master's degree in Children and Adolescent Psychology. Later on, I attented a short, extra training and obtained my RBT certificate (Registered Behavioral Technician), for Applied Behavioral Analysis Therapy (ABA).
I am currently furthering my expertise through ongoing training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for both adults and children. This expanded focus allows me to support a broader range of clients, including young adults and adult expat students, providing them with tailored therapy to navigate their unique challenges. I am in possession of a VOG (Certificate of Conduct) and am SKJ (Netherlands Youth Institute) registered, ensuring my commitment to the highest professional standards.
When I'm not working with my clients, you might find me perfecting my dance moves or exploring new dance styles. Dancing brings joy and creativity into my life, and I love infusing that playful energy into my therapeutic practice. Whether it's a twirl in the living room or a new rhythm to master, dance keeps me inspired and energized.
